Korolevich (Королевич)

‘Korolevich’ is a Russian commercial variety, that was created by a group of breeders from the Altai Region. They worked on it’s creation in the ‘Central Siberian Botanical Garden’, Agrofirm ‘Semena Altai’ and the ‘Kondakov Sergey Nikolaevich Farm’. In 2008, the variety was registered in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia. The plant is regular and wispy leaf, indeterminate and grows up to about 1,8 meters high. Beautiful, pink heart-shaped fruit weighing about 8-12 oz. or more. Glossy and thin skin and very tasty, sweet and juicy but not watery flesh, tender, just melts in the mouth. Small seed chambers with very few seeds. Midseason, about 75 days from transplant.
