Urbanite

Danish origin. Seeds were collected by Urban Gillespie of Pennsylvania in the 1930s. Seeds first offered in the Seed Savers 1999 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois, and the late Chuck Wyatt of Baltimore, Maryland. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 10-22 oz., very large, pink beefsteak tomatoes with few seeds and robust well-balanced flavors.
