According to Wojciech Maksymilian Szymański, ‘Solanum Spontaneum’ is a variety of ‘Solanum pimpinellifolium’ – deeply lobed petals are diagnostic for this species. Indeterminate, vigorous plants with small, delicate, regular leaves and a huge yield of small, pea-sized (only 0,07oz./2g), round, golden-orange, currant tomatoes growing on beautiful, long, regular trusses, about 17-22 tomatoes each. Outstanding, unexpectedly sweet, rich tomato flavors. Extremely high yield and long after shelf life. Good disease resistance. Plants can survive a light frost, up to about -3, -4*C. Early, about 65 days to maturity.
